CPW overview

Campus Preview Weekend (CPW) is a one-of-a-kind celebration, a joyful collision of events for admitted students at MIT. We welcome ~1,000 students to campus each year and host over 700 fun-filled events. None of this could be achieved without the warmth, dynamism, and spirit of our community!

CPW will take place April 16–19, 2026 and is for admitted students only.

We are hosting virtual family programming March 31 – April 2 so that parents, siblings, and families can learn more about MIT and what it is like to be a student here. While family members may choose to come to Cambridge during CPW, there will not be any in-person family programming.

Note: We have a limited number of spots for virtual family programming, and will be contacting groups directly to participate. If you have questions, please email cpw@mitadmissions.org.
