With hundreds of events taking place—lab tours, petting zoos, and controlled explosions to name a few—CPW can be an overwhelming experience. We need your help in welcoming and guiding our admitted students throughout the weekend!
How it works
The deadline to register as a volunteer is Sunday, March 30. We will reach out to registered volunteers in early April to confirm your assignments for the weekend and go over any necessary training.
Volunteers may be assigned to one or more of the following jobs listed below. Please note that we will assign volunteers to the areas of greatest need.

| On-campus greeter | Help admitted students navigate campus and answer general questions about MIT | Thursday, Friday |
| Shuttle greeter (Logan Airport) | Welcome and guide admitted students to the MIT Shuttle at Logan Airport | Thursday Must have 4-hour block of availability minimum |
| Tim the Beaver and handlers | Tim the Beaver: Be Tim, our amazingly cute mascot, for a few hours! Tim’s handler: Escort Tim around campus | Thursday, Friday, Saturday Must have 2–3 hour blocks of availability at a minimum |
