Need funding for your event?
The Admissions Office has a limited number of grants to help make it happen. Preference will be given to events highlighting a unique dimension of MIT.
To be considered for funding, please fill out the CPW event funding request form by Wednesday, March 5. Decisions, and further instructions on how to be reimbursed, will be released the week of March 10.
FAQs
How do I get reimbursed? After CPW, you will email your receipts to cpw@mitadmissions.org. If you do not submit your itemized receipts by May 1, we will not refund your account. We will reimburse you up to the allocated amount we’ve designated for your CPW event.
Where does my reimbursement go? There is a question on the form that asks for your organization’s SAFO Account #. All FSILGs and registered ASA student organizations have one. We cannot reimburse individual students, we will only reimburse the organization’s account.
How much money will I receive? It depends! The CPW Funding Request Review Committee will review your funding request and email your allotted grant total.
Can we submit multiple requests in one funding submission? Yes! The most common way to submit multiple requests is through a Google Document/Sheet. Please make sure the link is viewable to other members of the MIT community so that we are able to fully review your request.
